Design and decor ideas from wine corks
The first thing we'll start with is wine corks. They are associated with celebration, good mood, pleasant company, and create a feeling of comfort and warmth. That is why their use in interiors is so widespread. In general, we have an excellent article entirely devoted to crafts from wine corks: DIY crafts from wine corks, 40 photos.
To make these eco-friendly coasters pictured, you will need about 25 wine corks, a glue gun, a sharp knife and thin cork sheets. Start by cutting each cork in half lengthwise. Then glue the resulting blocks onto the blanks cut from cork sheets. The edge of the product can be masked with linen thread. Attach it too with glue. Apply glue in small portions to avoid unsightly drips.
The second option for crafts with wine corks is even simpler. In this case, they can be used as card holders, which may come in handy during the holidays. In this case, the wine corks should also be cut in half, vertically. Take the resulting halves and make a horizontal notch across, which will perfectly fit the size of your cards.
You can also make a cut at the top using a knife. Mark it in the center so that the card does not fall out. Don't make the groove too deep.

New life for old things: unusual crafts for the home
Many people don't know what to do with their old T-shirts, so they often just throw them away. We offer an alternative option. Try making a beautiful hanging pot for flowerpots out of an unwanted T-shirt.
Crafts from old things: a beautiful flowerpot from an old T-shirt
To begin, choose a T-shirt that does not have any decorations on it. The plant pot will look beautiful if you use fabric of one or more colors. You can also use a kitchen towel instead of a T-shirt.
Lay the T-shirt on a flat surface and cut it into 8 3cm wide strips. Twist the strips to form ropes. Gather them together and tie them in a knot, leaving a small bun. Then on every two strips you need to make a common knot. Then tie adjacent ropes at the same distance. The result is a grid with large cells. Make enough rows so that the plant pot matches the height of the pot. At the end, tie all the strands again into a common knot and secure the hook so that it can be hung. Ready!
