We will not bend or stitch the lower part of the strips, since our material practically does not crumble.

We stuff both double strips with padding polyester and sew the ends together without touching the drawstring. To stuff the side of the bed, we take small old pieces of padding polyester (the whole material will be useful for sewing a pillow). To push the filler, we use a wooden masher. By the way, along with the padding material, you can put crushed valerian root or catnip into the sides of the bed. Cats love these odorous components.

Now we sew the bottom of the bed with the sides with multi-colored stripes inward (it will be more pleasant for the cat to come into contact with soft fabric). If desired, you can connect the bottom of the bed with the sides using a textile fastener (Velcro) or zipper.

We sew the ovals together, folding them right sides together, but not all the way. We leave a section of 12-15 cm unstitched. We turn the resulting bag inside out through the hole left and cut out 3 ovals of the same size from padding polyester along it.

We put the padding polyester parts into a fabric bag and sew up the hole. And so that the padding polyester does not bunch up when using the pillow, you can quilt the finished product or grab it by hand in several places.
